The journaling reads, "today we changed things up a little bit. it wasn't felling so hot, so paul went to church on his own while i slept in. we decided against the adventure we were going to have (a hike at Mt. Tabor) and instead stayed all cozed up inside. p watched some football + was not happy that his beloved Colts lost-ha!
in the evening, we watched The Polar Express-one of our faves. p ended up falling asleep at the very end, so we rewound it and watched the last bit again! when he went to bed p fell asleep listening to our Christmas 2010 playlist! and i finally came up with exactly what i want to make everyone for Christmas. simple is the name of the game this year!"
A little tip about photos: I took a bunch of bokeh shots yesterday, but didn't take any specific to our activity or of us even! When this happens, I try not to stress out too much and take a different approach. One, I hope to set up a self-timer shot of p, myself and wa in front of the tree one of these days. I can always use that here. Two, I can use a general photo of Christmas decor or bokeh or really anything to fill in a spot. Three, I can download a photo of The Polar Express cover from the internet and use that. I plan to do this, as we no longer have our DVD covers (we bought CD storage boxes kinda like these, and some simple paper DVD sleeves and that's how we store our DVD's now, which has been totally awsome. I kept the papers of my favorite DVD covers-taking them out of the plastic-and some of the "booklets" from inside the cases in a little box).
Here's a few images that I think I may just use (found by doing a simple search for The Polar Express on Google images):
